Meaning of station Name | "Goboku" means "five kinsd of trees". Specifically, it refers to cypress, asunaro, nezuko, straw, and koyamaki, which are representative of the Kiso region. "Yakata" means "building". The building of this michinoeki is made of the five trees of the Kiso region. "Kawaue" is the former village name before municipal mergers. |
