Meaning of station Name | "Okueigenji" is the local area name where this michinoeki is located. Surrounded by mountains on the east side of Higashiomi City, it is also the source area of the Aichi River, which flows into Lake Biwa. "Keiryu" means "mountain stream". "Sato" means "hometown". |

In fact, "Tobita-kun" originated in Higashiomi city. Tobita-kun goods are sold at this Michinoeki.
